What CarKept does
- Never miss a service — reminders before an oil change, tyre rotation, brakes or inspection, using both time and mileage.
- No GPS, ever — mileage is estimated only from odometer readings you type in yourself. CarKept never tracks where you drive.
- Your complete history — every service with cost, odometer, shop, notes and receipt photos.
- Fuel and running costs — track fill-ups to see MPG and cost per mile over time.
- CSV and PDF export and import, so the history leaves with you or with the car.
- Survives a restart — reminders reschedule themselves after the phone reboots.
Default service intervals are manufacturer-generic starting points you can edit. Always follow your vehicle's owner's manual.

CarKept questions
Do I need an account to use CarKept?
No. Open CarKept and start — there is no sign-up, no email address and no password. Your identity is your business, and the app works without it.
Where does CarKept store my data?
In an encrypted database on your own phone. There is no server of ours holding a copy, so there is nothing for us to leak, sell or lose — and you can export your records whenever you like.
Does CarKept have ads or tracking?
No. There are no advertising networks, no analytics SDKs and no third-party tags in any Coffer app.
Is CarKept free?
CarKept has a genuinely useful free core. One Coffer subscription unlocks the extras across every Coffer app instead of charging per app, and cancelling never takes away anything you have already recorded.
